NEGRONI
A classic short-drink cocktail. Gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari give this cocktail a robust, bitter bite.
Martini Rosso, bitters, and gin first met in 1919 in Florence, Italy. Count Camillo Negroni wanted something stronger than his favorite cocktail, the Americano. So, the soda was replaced with gin and the lemon with an orange slice. It had to be clear that this was a different cocktail. His desire for something stronger certainly paid off for Mr. Negroni.
